7 Commonly Missed Cleaning Spots

February 18, 2016

Routine cleaning its not just the vacuuming or dusting, sweeping and mopping but there are 7 special spots that should never be ignored while cleaning a house. Here are some habits that will keep your family safe.

Kitchen Sink

Here I am not referring to the dishes that might pile there.  Its a routine thing, probably expected, especially if you’re preparing lots of food for parties, Thanksgiving, and the like.  I am concerned about the hard substance that might build up around the edges of the sink, behind the faucets, and in or around the drain. The sink is very important to be cleaned first before you start preparing your food or doing the dishes! If your sink is not clean, it makes even the most delicious look a little less appetizing.

Behind the toilet

Yes! Behind it! Especially if you have little boys who refuse to aspire despite your ceaseless persuasion and bribing.

Toilet handle.

Honestly it is the most suspected area in the toilet and since you can never be sure of it, always and always wash it. This will always be a safest habit for everyone at home.

Television remote.

Too often we overlook the cleaning of this small device that everybody takes in their hands, simply because it’s not a part of the house.  But its very much likely that it’s gotten smudgy, filthy or even sticky over time. Just use a damp piece of cloth to wipe it off and it will be good as new.

Kids Toys

They are particularly ignored by most of the parents, busy moms and especially single parents because of their hectic routines. Also kids take no time in making them dirty again. But at least sanitize your kids toys once a month. This will ensure you your kids good health.

Toothbrush holders

Brushing your teeth, the first thing that you do in the morning. Oral health precautions also includes keeping your toothbrush holder clean and rinse it off more frequently.

 Doors and Trims

Doors, door jambs, trim, and door knobs are all highly trafficked areas and still they often get unnoticed in cleaning.  If you look closely, sure you will be able to find the exact spot used to open the door by the plethora of hand prints. These areas are easily cleaned with a warm, wet rag and some all-purpose cleaner. Be sure to dry it back off so as not to damage the wood.
